Digital Audio Component
Support Various File Formats
Digital Audio Component can play most of digital audio data such as MPEG(MP3, MP2, MP1), Real Audio(RA, RM, RAM), SUN Audio(AU, SND), MAC Audio(AIF), and Windows Audio(WAV).
Quick Track Selection
If you press [Quick Track Select] button on the left of component, you can move to another track quickly. Clicking the mouse on the track number does the same operation.
Support Streaming
Jet-Audio supports streaming of MP3 or RA file. You can play an MP3 file without downloading. For seamless playing, Internet connection speed should be more than 128Kbps.( 28.8Kbps for RA ) You can save streamed file in your hard disk as well.
Sound Effects
It supports sound effects such as reverb, 3D, wide and F/X effect, 20 band graphic equalizer and 20 channel spectrum analysis screen display when MPEG audio is played. And if the system installs the DirectShow, sound effector works for WAV file as well.
Lyric Window
When MP3, RA or WAV files are being played, lyric will be displayed in the lyric window if the same named TXT or RTF file is found. For more information, please refer to Digital Audio of [Preferences].
Record Music CD
You can record music CD in WAV or RA format. Turn on both the CD Component and Digital Audio Component, and press the [Record] button of Digital Audio Component. Jet-Audio has two kinds of recording modes. It supports both Analog Recording and Digital Copy. When you record music CD with Analog Recording, you can record multiple tracks together, and they will be registered in the current album. When you record CD with Digital Copy, you can save music data through reading digital data from music CD. Digital Copy records sound very cleanly. However, it is not supported depending on OS or CD-ROM drive.
Record Microphone Sound
You can record microphone sound into WAV or RA file format when Mic is selected as a recordable device.
Convert MP3 to WAV
You can convert a song from MP3 to WAV. Select [Digital Audio] tab of [Prefereces], and press [Advanced] button. You should set the MPEG Audio output option as [a WAV file]. For more information, please refer to Digital Audio Advanced Options of [Preferences]. There is a [Play Current Song Only] mode among [Play Method]. It ends play after completing the current song play. You can use this function very conveniently when you want to convert a song one by one.
